Requirement

Job Title                           : Finance Analyst

 

Report to                        : Finance Controller / Assistant Finance Controller

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

 

  •   Managing the capital spend of the division including but not limited to CTS uploads, program capital (request to GO & execution thereof), monthly / quarterly reporting of capital, carry over impact analysis etc. Ensuring capital committed is spent on time as per schedule to avoid incurrence of interest cost due to excess drawdown.

 

  •   Testing of journal entries data on a monthly basis and highlighting it to the AFC / FC for corrective action.

 

  •   Tooling process (including other assets) – Accounting, completion of trackers, coordination with engineering department w.r.t. PSW sign off / revenue recognition, coordination with logistics for adequate invoicing on time, preparation for customer audits etc.

 

  •   Preparation of Contribution margin workings at month end / quarter end and ensuring that the same reconciles with the SAP.

 

  •   Internal audit – Review of month end binders to ensure junior team has completed the same adequately and ensuring all MMC have been complied with.

 

  •   Responsible for maintenance of FAR and depreciation on assets.

 

  •   Preparation and review of monthly financial statements for accuracy.

 

  •   Prepare annual business plans, and undertakes other projects as assigned by Controller.

 

  •   Comparison of budgeted results with actuals on a month on month basis.

 

  •   Identify areas for improvement & review with AFC / FC during regular meetings.

 

  •   Coaching and mentoring junior staff to ensure productivity improvement and personal development of the individual team members through learning.

 

  •   Monitoring of balance sheet accounts on an ongoing basis to ensure aged balances are settled in time with the support of FC / AFC.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required :

 

  •   CA with minimum 2 to 3 years of manufacturing experience.

 

  •   Excellent knowledge on Excel and SAP will be preferred.

 

  •   Good organizational, leadership, interpersonal and problem solving skills.

 

  •   Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

  •   Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion and tact.
