Requirement

Designation: Senior Executive - Ocean export and Import

Reporting to: Branch Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

Ensure filling of prior IGM, ISF, FMC and AMS in real time, with the respective firm/portal to avoid any kind penalty from carrier/custom/etc.

To ensure collection, distribution and checking of documents within the stipulated time, for correct data entry.

To ensure that the fortnightly migrating statement along with the complete supporting is generated as per schedule.

To respond to customer queries related to operation so as to avoid any escalation.

Co-ordination with agent partner and recover all the expenses we incur for any shipments landed with discrepancy.

Manage and improve performance of Ocean Department in terms of service levels and achieve assigned revenue targets.

Liaising & follow-up with Key Customers for their routing orders, payments and other related matters.

Liaising with overseas partners for rates and preparation of quotations.

Updating customers on status of shipment to be delivered & follow up for PODs & co-ordination with operations.

Getting additional business from current customers.

Replying to all emails and communication in an agreed time frame.

To Train and Develop People in the team.

To communicate effectively and constructively in timely manner.

Other duties as assigned by the respective management.
