Data Lineage Consultant
Purpose of the Role We are seeking an experienced Data Lineage consultant to support enterprise-wide data transformation and governance initiatives within the Banking and Financial Services sector. The role focuses on analysing, documenting and maintaining end-to-end data lineage for critical business data, ensuring that data flows, controls, transformations and reporting processes are accurately represented. Working closely with business stakeholders, data owners and technology teams, you will help improve transparency of data movement, strengthen governance practices and support regulatory and internal control requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Data Lineage Analysis & Maintenance
• Analyse and document end-to-end data lineage across applications, databases, reporting platforms and manual processes.
• Review and validate data lineage against supporting artefacts including process documentation, metadata repositories and business documentation.
• Identify missing lineage components, data transformations, controls, reconciliations and manual intervention points.
