The Tools Engineer L3 – Flexera SAM is the senior technical owner for the Flexera-based Software Asset Management tooling within a managed services setup. This role designs, configures, and operates Flexera SAM solutions, integrates them with discovery, CMDB, procurement, and ITSM systems, and acts as L3 escalation for complex issues and enhancements.
The engineer ensures that Flexera SAM reliably supports license compliance, optimization, and governance across on-prem and cloud/SaaS software, and drives automation and data quality improvements in partnership with SAM, procurement, finance, security, and operations teams.
